By car – highway

Take the Autostrada del Sole (A1) and exit at Orvieto.
From the exit, follow the signs for Orvieto centro (about 5 km).
Once in the city, follow the signs for the historic center and you will easily find the hotel, located at Via di Piazza del Popolo 13.
A partner garage is available nearby for guests.

By train

Orvieto is served by the Rome–Florence railway line, with frequent connections from both cities.
From Orvieto train station, you can reach the historic center in two ways:
- Funicolare (departing right in front of the station) which quickly takes you to the top of the cliff. From there, you can continue with a short bus ride, on foot, or by taxi.
- Taxi directly from the station to the hotel (about 10 minutes).

Where to park in Orvieto

The historic center of Orvieto is characterized by charming streets but also by few parking spaces, most of which are reserved for residents. For this reason, we recommend leaving your car in the public parking lots located just outside the city walls, which are easily connected to the center by escalators or elevators.

Campo Boario parking lot

Large secure parking lot, also ideal for long stays.
Connected to the historic center by a modern elevator that leads directly to Piazza della Repubblica and then to the Grand Hotel Italia.
A practical and convenient solution to avoid traffic in the most central streets.

Via Roma parking lot

Located just a few minutes’ walk from the historic center.
It is one of the most popular parking lots for those who want to leave their car in an easily accessible area.
From here, you can reach the hotel with a short walk in the heart of the city.
