Carved into the picturesque tuff cliff on which the Grand Hotel Italia stands, the ancient underground rooms become a unique place to enjoy an authentic experience: our Umbrian cooking classes.
Umbrian cuisine is a down-to-earth, authentic, and genuine cuisine, rooted in rural traditions and the use of simple, high-quality ingredients. Extra virgin olive oil, bread, legumes, fresh pasta, meat, and cheese: these elements, together with local wine, tell the story and capture the soul of the region.
Courses are held upon request and for groups (minimum 6 people, maximum 20) and are led by local chefs who will guide guests step by step, from kneading the dough to the final tasting.
